While of course the title of this post could (excitingly!) apply to the state of this site, it actually references Valve’s recent PC geekgasm Portal, which the crew of Polybius beat together over the holidays and, for the uninitiated, is an immersive, atmospheric series of physics puzzles executed with mindblowing precision and a dry, piercing wit. It’s also got a charming plot and an awesome twist ending that I don’t want to spoil, so I’ll just let this video speak for itself. If you haven’t played the game, this is safe to watch (though don’t read the Youtube comments!), but it won’t really make much sense. Either way, Youtube user 256byteram has made over the themesong from the end of Portal in meatspace. Charming.
